A brutal assault occurred in Coney Island on Sunday night when a 46-year-old woman was raped at knifepoint by two suspected illegal aliens.

The attack unfolded outside a hotel on Surf Avenue and 16th Street, a location housing asylum seekers, around 9 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.

David Davon-Bonilla, 24, a Nicaraguan illegal, allegedly assaulted the woman by throwing her to the ground and raping her while holding a knife to her throat. Leovando Moreno, 37, a Mexican illegal, is accused of attacking the woman’s 34-year-old boyfriend with an object when he attempted to intervene.

Davon-Bonilla, previously residing at a La Quinta Hotel on Third Avenue that was converted into a migrant shelter, faces charges including first-degree rape, second-degree assault, first-degree sexual abuse, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon. Moreno is charged with second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim was transported to Coney Island Hospital and is listed in stable condition. Her boyfriend declined medical attention at the scene.
