Residents in Clinton Hill, NY, rallied after a surge in violence in the district linked to migrant crime.
The rally took place close to a major migrant center in Brooklyn, with one protester saying the area “was not available to the community anymore” since the trouble started:

“We have been witnessing the escalation in violence for months now,” one resident said.
“We’ve been pleading with the mayor as we’ve seen increased violence that this was going to be inevitable,” another said.
With President Joe Biden coming under heavy fire for his open-door border policy, many wondered who the residents of Clinton Hill voted for in the last election.
It wasn’t long before the answer was discovered…. and it’s above 90%. For comparison, Trump got a greater share of the vote in San Francisco.

The district – perhaps unsurprising given its name – is one of the strongest Democrat-leaning areas of the country, and sympathy was suspended among users on social media, who recognized that these people are complaining about the results of their own actions.
