Former CNN host Chris Cuomo, despite no longer being part of the liberal media machine, continues to show his true colors—he just can't handle the truth. His recent exchange with conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly is a prime example of this, as reported by the Gateway Pundit.

After the Democratic convention on Thursday, Cuomo, now with NewsNation, and O'Reilly went head-to-head over Kamala Harris's lackluster keynote address.

O'Reilly, not one to mince words, graded the speech a "C," pointing out that it lacked specifics, offered no solutions to the country's pressing issues, and merely regurgitated the typical liberal Democratic talking points.

“She wants power. She wants to be president. She doesn’t do press. She doesn’t answer questions,” O'Reilly declared. Harris is demanding power without providing any clear plan on how she intends to use it, let alone explaining her policies to the American public.

O'Reilly also didn't shy away from exposing the falsehoods in Harris's speech, especially her attacks on former President Donald Trump. “I don’t want to be lied to, Cuomo,” O’Reilly said bluntly. “I don’t care where it is!”

Cuomo, however, wasn’t having it. With a look of irritation that screamed "liberal arrogance," he launched into an attack on O'Reilly, implying that O'Reilly was both ignorant and naive for expecting anything different from a candidate's convention speech.

When the discussion turned to Harris's comments about the Supreme Court and abortion, Cuomo essentially called O'Reilly an idiot.

But O'Reilly, fired back. “Is that all you got? That I sound like an idiot?” he retorted, cutting through Cuomo’s argument.

The exchange, nearly 13 minutes long and worth every second, highlighted the deep divisions in the 2024 campaign. On one side, you have Trump supporters and even some non-Trump conservatives who are fed up with the Biden-Harris administration’s disastrous handling of illegal immigration, the economy, and foreign policy.

They’ve watched as the liberal media coddles the administration, more interested in protecting the Democratic agenda than informing the American people.

On the other side are the true believers in the Democratic Party, like Cuomo, who will seize any chance to attack Trump while offering no real defense of their candidates or policies.

Harris’s speech was so full of deception that even outlets like The Washington Post, USA Today, and The New York Times couldn’t ignore it—a rare moment where O'Reilly found himself on the same side as these typically liberal publications.

Cuomo’s defense? Attack Trump, and by extension, O'Reilly, while pretending that a convention speech shouldn't be held to any standard. But as O'Reilly summed up the conversation: “This woman has no specifics, but you excuse it because she’s in party mode. Bull! We’re at a very serious point in our history. We need problem-solving. This woman won’t answer a question from any journalist. That alone tells you what her capacity is.”
