Republican vice presidential nominee Senator JD Vance didn't hold back in criticizing the media and Vice President Kamala Harris for her recent comments on the prisoner exchange with Russia.

Vance took aim at Harris for her off-the-cuff remarks delivered alongside Joe Biden at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland, questioning the lack of scrutiny she faced from journalists.

"It's amazing that journalists can look themselves in the mirror while letting this person coast to a major party nomination for president. Is anyone going to ask this person a question?" Vance sharply remarked on X.

Notably, Harris has yet to conduct a press conference in the nearly two weeks since being tapped as the presumptive Democratic nominee following Biden's decision not to seek reelection.

Here's What They're Not Telling You About Your Retirement

Addressing reporters, Harris hailed the prisoner exchange, stating, "This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy."
