A former employee of Tacos Reyes in Los Angeles took “take-out” to a whole new level by ramming her SUV into the beloved taco spot. The rampage, which unfolded around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, left the restaurant in shambles. But here’s the twist: the woman behind the wheel wasn’t just some random vandal. According to the owner's family, she used to work there.

Footage captured by bystanders shows the woman repeatedly crashing into the building, turning the interior into a demolition derby. LAPD officers on the scene watched in disbelief as she methodically reversed and drove forward, smashing everything in sight. Antonia Reyes, the daughter of the restaurant's owner, expressed shock, stating that the woman left on good terms four years ago. “Her mom still works with us, and we’ve always had love for the family,” Reyes told ABC 7, adding that the situation is heartbreaking.

As if this story couldn't get any crazier, it turns out this isn’t her first rodeo. Police revealed that the same woman was previously arrested for vandalizing one of the restaurant's catering trucks. Guess she really didn’t get enough the first time around.

Bailey Thompson, who was working next door at a bar, was the first to sense the danger. “She was just reversing and slamming into all the different walls,” Thompson said. Her quick thinking led her to warn her co-workers and customers to get out before the chaos escalated.

In a scene straight out of an action movie, nearby officers were flagged down, surrounded the woman, and eventually subdued her with non-lethal rounds. No injuries were reported, but the woman now faces felony vandalism charges.

As for Tacos Reyes, the restaurant will be closed until further notice while they pick up the pieces—literally.
