On a recent episode of the Lex Fridman Podcast, Elon Musk and Lex Fridman delved into the concept of a government efficiency commission and discussed the broader implications of psychological operations (psyops) on society.

Fridman posed a hypothetical scenario, saying, “I wish you could just like, for a week go into Washington and like, be the head of the committee for making what is it for the garbage collection, making government smaller, like, removing stuff.”

In response, Musk revealed his previous discussions with former President Trump about such an initiative. “I have discussed with Trump the idea of a government efficiency commission,” Musk said. He added, “And I would be willing to be part of that commission.”

Fridman expressed skepticism about the feasibility of this idea, questioning, “I wonder how hard that is.”

Musk acknowledged the significant challenges that would come with such an effort. “The antibody reaction would be very strong,” he said. “So you really have to, you’re attacking the matrix. At that point, matrix will fight back.”

Fridman then inquired about Musk’s experiences with criticism and attacks. “How are you doing with that being attacked?” he asked.
