In a recent statement delivered in Michigan, Donald Trump sharply criticized Kamala Harris’s stance on law enforcement, accusing her of being "pro-crime" and "anti-police."
Trump’s remarks focused on Harris’s support for defunding the police and her legislative actions, which he argues would negatively impact law enforcement if she were to become president.
Before the speech even began, people lined the streets of Michigan just to get a glimpse of Donald Trump.

Trump began by outlining what he perceives as Harris's problematic record on policing. "But let's review Kamala's pro-crime, anti-police record," Trump said.

He accused Harris of consistently endorsing the defunding of police departments, a stance he claims reflects her fundamental beliefs and would lead to damaging policies if she were in the Oval Office. "She repeatedly endorsed defunding the police, which I said, and it's at a level that and it never goes away. You know, when you're a defunder or when you are even a politician, your first thought, usually is the thought that you go with, if she ever had a chance, she would, she would do whatever she could to defund the police, because that's where her spirit is, that's where her heart is, and we can't have a president like that."
PRESIDENT TRUMP: Let’s review Kamala's extremist, pro-crime, anti-police record.

Trump also criticized Harris for sponsoring a bill aimed at stripping police officers of legal protections.
He argued that such a bill would leave officers vulnerable to biased and aggressive prosecutors. "She sponsored a bill to strip police officers of legal protection, leaving you at the mercy of the lawless Marxist prosecutors who want to lock up police officers for sport. They lock them up in many cases, long before they lock up the criminal and they go after them too violently."
The former president expressed concern that Harris’s policies could lead to the financial ruin of police unions and undermine the broader law enforcement system. "They don't go after the criminals. Murderers are released two hours after the murder, she wants to bankrupt the police unions. She wants to destroy policemen in general. And they ruin your lives, your jobs, and they ruin everything you've lived for, everything you've felt that you want to make great. You want to make our country great."

Trump concluded with a strong pledge to counteract the push for defunding the police if he is re-elected. "When I'm President of the United States again, we will never even think about or mention the words defund the police. We'll never think about that again. It's got to be put away. It's a bad situation."
Trump’s remarks highlight ongoing debates over law enforcement policies and reflect his commitment to maintaining strong support for police if he returns to the White House.

Defunding the police is but the tip of the iceburg. It is also who is hired and the training given. next time you see a large number of officers gathered I ask you to observe several things. first the size of the officers.
How many are under the avrage height of the population in your area? do they reflect the general proportions of the area. do they follow the government guidelines of diversity?
To address these questions is complex, and the answers become a problem to make a department serve the safety of the people or diversity requirements of government.
How do we expect a woman who weighs 130 pounds of 5’8″ to take down a man of the same height that weighs two hundred pounds? addin the probibility that if they are indeed a criminal may have drugs that dull their sences of reason and pain.
It is not just a woman problem because we see men of small higth and slight stature that would have the same problem. What would their general responce be with the need to restrain or stop a man larger than themselves? The need for force that would “level the playing field” would apply. that force could be anything that is ment to be non lethal, but is never a 100% certain in its use. the use of this force will be higher for people assigned to do a job that requires restraints.
We have the first problem created by DIVERSITY requirements. The next comes as standards are lowered for education requirements. Some states wanting to hire illegals to be law enforcment. many comming from a violent place that made them choose to come to America. learning actions to take growing up wont change by becomming an officer.
A major problem we see with many officers are health problems. overweight is the primary item to address. line up the entire force in your community and see how many are overweight. This is a problem as we get older. a fact I am well aware of and deal with each day.
When your job consists of riding around each day it is easy to use food to keep your attention going with the surger rush. These poor people couldnt catch a criminal or subdue them safely. Again the need to use an alternitive force increases with each extra pound. Are weight requirements enforced? If they are then it adds just one more item to take out someone that will serve and protect and replace them with the diverse candidate
Part of the answer id to rid ourselves of the DIVERSITY crap. your skin color or gender brings nothing to your ability to do the job in a safe manner for themselves and the public. Education alone is not enough to do the job. With all the fake degrees in social engerneering like underwater basket weaving these young people are illequiped to interact with lifes real problems.
With government that has caused the problem by telling these young people that with a collage education you will quailfy for the higher paying jobs. their expectation becomes that with diplomia in hand expect to start at the top. they want to be boss. As a contractor that must hire only the best skilled individuals are confronted with this with each person I hire.
Because the trade I am in pays good money for people with the hands on skills I must interview many before finding one. then we add their willing ability to do the job.
Back to the problems of any officers that must protect. We must have the highest standards available along with standards that reflect the bodies ability to handel the rigors that come with the job. One way is to offer good wages and benefits.
Along with these requirements the demand that they keep as healthy as possable The final requirement is training and the CYA requirements. your ability to deal with the public. knowing that they will be ready and willing to file complaints that will cost you your job if proven true.
Because of Gov. requirements for diversity it makes the dedacated cops job even harder. the officers that abuse their athority, and the mistakes made by others who are in charge must change. Much/ many problems come from the command part of the force.
We now see all the military style use of equipment and overuse of numbers to intimidate the population only causes distrust and makes another voter willing to defund the police.
When new policies dont work go back to what did. we now have too many in charge with social engerneering education who has never been out from behind their desk that are making critical decisions that are loosing lives.
The answer, partly is start with government. letting local people set requirements that fit the problems.———- i, Grampa
