On Friday, the Oversight Project released [1] audio recordings from the Las Vegas Metro Police Department’s protective detail for Joe Biden, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

These recordings verify earlier reports that Biden, after abruptly canceling a speaking engagement due to illness on July 17, first headed to the University Medical Center before being rerouted directly to Harry Reid International Airport.

The general channel clips feature officers coordinating with additional units to manage traffic and secure routes following the sudden change in plans. The event channel recording is shared in full for public review.
In the four-minute clips, officers are instructed to respond Code 3, indicating an emergency response.
