A recent report by Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee has uncovered a shocking reality: nearly 100 illegal immigrants on the terror watchlist have been let loose in the United States under the lax border policies of the Biden administration.

This revelation has once again highlighted the dire consequences of the open borders agenda championed by the left.

According to the report, Border Patrol agents have come across more than 250 individuals on the terrorist watchlist at the southwest border between fiscal years 2021 and 2023.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has shamelessly released at least 99 of these individuals into American communities, with another 34 still in DHS custody, posing a direct threat to our national security.

Not only that, but immigration judges have granted bond to 27 migrants on the watchlist who entered the country illegally. To add insult to injury, Border Patrol has encountered tens of thousands of migrants from countries known to harbor national security risks, including Afghanistan, China, Iran, Syria, and Uzbekistan.

While Democrats continue to turn a blind eye to the mounting crisis at the border, the statistics speak for themselves.

Since the Biden administration took office, over 2 million 'gotaways' have slipped through, evading Border Patrol and infiltrating our communities.

This failure of border security raises serious concerns about the safety and well-being of American citizens.

The report further reveals that migrants on the terror watchlist have come from 36 different countries, many of which have active terror networks operating within their borders.

The lack of accountability and oversight in the immigration system has created a breeding ground for potential terrorists to exploit our weak borders and gain entry into the country.

As the southern border continues to be overwhelmed by record numbers of migrants, the risk of terrorist infiltration is more pressing than ever.

Recent incidents, such as the apprehension of Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS, underscore the real and present danger that uncontrolled immigration poses to our nation's security.
