In response to the banner, other attendees in the arena attempted to obstruct its visibility by using their own large signs.

Additionally, one individual physically tried to remove the pro-Gaza banner from the protester and her associates. The crowd around the protesters began chanting, “We love Joe,” following the banner’s display.

The situation escalated further when the arena lights above the protesters were turned off, and they were eventually removed from the convention hall.

The incident has sparked controversy online, with many criticizing the man for his actions. Social media users have called for the identification of the individual who hit the protester and suggested that the protester should consider pressing charges. Comments on social media reflect outrage and disapproval, with some questioning the necessity of the physical confrontation.

During his speech, Joe Biden addressed the ongoing conflict involving Israel and Gaza.

He reiterated his commitment to addressing the crisis by stating, “We’ll keep working to bring hostages home and end the war in Gaza and bring peace and security to the Middle East.”

Biden also acknowledged the suffering on both sides of the conflict, noting, “Those folks down the street have a point: A lot of innocent people are being killed on both sides.”
