A Delaware golf course turned into a scene of chaos on Tuesday afternoon when an alleged drunk driver, behind the wheel of a blue Ford Bronco, rammed into a golf cart, ejecting its passenger, and attempted to mow down another golfer before fleeing the scene.
The shocking incident took place at Deerfield Golf Club in Newark, just 45 miles southwest of Philadelphia.
According to the Delaware Natural Resources Police, witnesses captured the driver of the Ford Bronco driving erratically on the road before veering onto the grass.

In a terrifying sequence of events, the suspect reportedly struck one golfer and crashed into a golf cart, nearly hitting another person on the course.

Law enforcement officials have stated that the suspect will be arraigned once they are released from the hospital.
