Footage from the recent riots in Southport captured a man engaging with law enforcement officers, resulting in him being hit by bricks thrown by fellow rioters.
The man, dressed in a grey tracksuit, was struck on the head, chest, and groin by the projectiles as chaos unfolded on the streets.
The riots began during a vigil for three young girls tragically killed in a stabbing incident at a dance class, leaving multiple police officers injured.

The young girls, Bebe King, Elsie Dot Stancombe, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, lost their lives in the attack, with several others sustaining critical injuries.
Community members have been left to clean up the aftermath of the riots outside Southport mosque, with Norman Wallis, chief executive of Southport Pleasureland, condemning the disruptive outsiders while praising the local residents for their efforts in restoring order.
