At a rally in St. Cloud, Minnesota, former President Donald Trump reflected on the chaos that engulfed Minneapolis four years ago, highlighting his intervention and criticizing local leadership for their lack of action.

Trump took aim at the governor for failing to call in necessary forces to quell the violence and accused Vice President Kamala Harris of supporting the rioters.

Trump recounted the events of 2020, stating, "Anarchists and looters and Marxists came to burn down Minneapolis four years ago. Remember me. I couldn't get your governor to act. He's supposed to call in the National Guard or the army, and he didn't do it."

Emphasizing his own decisive action, Trump continued, "I couldn't get your governor, so I sent in the National Guard to save Minneapolis."
