Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump is healing well after an attempt on his life by assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks.
The president was shot, and the bullet came “less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head,” according to former White House physician and Congressman Ronny Jackson, who said the president is doing well.
Consequently, the shooting produced a 2 cm wide wound that reached down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear. Jackson added that “there was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear.” He further revealed that the injured ear still intermittently bleeds.

Jackson, who examined the president the night he was shot, also debunked Fauci's claims, saying that the bullet that wounded the then-presidential nominee was from a “high-powered rifle” and the swelling had resolved thanks to the medical staff that treated Trump at Butler Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania.
The former appointed physician to the President has seen him every day since the assassination attempt and thanked the medical staff that initially treated Trump at the hospital.
No sutures were required given the “broad and blunt nature of the wound,” according to Jackson, who further noted the medical dressing that still had to remain in place.
