Former President Donald Trump has been called upon by the FBI for a "victim interview" regarding the recent attempted assassination on his life.

FBI Special Agent in Charge Kevin Rojek revealed that the interview will be “consistent with any other victim interview" and that they seek to obtain Trump's perspective on the events that transpired.

The FBI's investigation into the shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on July 13 remains ongoing, with the shooter's motive still unclear after more than two weeks.

The assailant, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, killed one person and critically injured two others.

Fortunately, Trump sustained only a minor injury after a bullet narrowly missed his head and grazed his ear.

Rojek provided details about the assailant's preparations, including online purchases of firearms and the construction of explosive devices found in his vehicle and home on the day of the assassination attempt.

The FBI has also initiated legal requests to obtain data and content associated with Crooks.
