SAN ANTONIO – On the East Side of San Antonio, a shooting occurred, leaving three individuals injured from a shooting that took place in their own backyard. The incident unfolded in the early hours of Thursday, at approximately 2:30 a.m., at a residential property located off Steves Avenue.
According to police reports, the victims were in their backyard when they suddenly heard gunshots erupt in the surrounding area. Startled and perplexed, they soon found themselves under attack as a group of men, armed and seemingly indiscriminately, started walking through the vicinity and firing their weapons.
Two men were struck by bullets. One of them sustained four gunshot wounds and is currently in serious condition. The other victim was hit twice. Additionally, a 17-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to his arm. All three injured individuals were immediately transferred to a local hospital for urgent medical treatment.
San Antonio Police initiated an investigation and managed to locate and apprehend four suspects believed to be involved in the shooting. The arrests took place in the vicinity of Piedmont Avenue and Vanderbilt Street. As the investigation continues, the suspects remain in custody, awaiting the determination of official charges they will face in connection with this incident.
