Two House Republicans are pushing for the impeachment of Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle following her testimony before the House Oversight Committee.
JUST IN: Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle can’t answer almost all of Rep. James Comer’s questions.
This woman is way more incompetent than I thought.
Attendees were heard groaning in the background as Cheatle gaslit the American people.

Dennis Quaid’s #1 Warning for Americans
Cheatle has faced sharp criticism after a failed assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump last month, yet she remains in her role despite mounting pressure for her resignation.
Representative Greg Steube from Florida took action on Monday night by introducing articles of impeachment against Cheatle, accusing her of negligence in protecting Trump.

In the statement, Steube emphasized, “The Secret Service calls themselves ‘one of the most elite law enforcement agencies in the world’. What happened under their watch in Butler, Pennsylvania, was an international embarrassment and an inexcusable tragedy”
Citing Cheatle’s acknowledgment that she holds ultimate responsibility, revelations of a Secret Service Sniper observing the shooter for nearly 20 minutes before the incident, and Trump’s pleas for heightened security, Steube deemed the agency’s performance as a failure.
“After her abysmal testimony today before the Oversight Committee, where little to no questions were properly answered, and she doubled down on her refusal to resign, we have no choice but to impeach Director Cheatle,” declared Steube.
Joining in the call for impeachment, South Carolina Representative Nancy Mace also filed articles against Cheatle for neglecting her duties, accompanied by a privileged motion demanding a prompt voting process.

While Cheatle faces demands from both parties to resign following her unsatisfactory testimony, House Oversight Chairman James Comer and Ranking Member Jamie Raskin have underscored the necessity of her stepping down in a bipartisan letter.
