UPDATE: 'RFK Jr. says he's in it to win it."
I deleted my original post on RFK JR allegedly dropping out and endorsing Trump. Kennedy has responded with the following and Iβm doing my due diligence in letting it be known. We shall see what really happens. https://t.co/S0j1HOPjyR

Kennedy Jr. is the son of the late Robert F. Kennedy, a former US Senator, and brother of President John F. Kennedy. The Kennedy family has a longstanding affiliation with the Democratic Party in American politics.
Still, Robert Jr.'s alignment with the Republicans is not entirely unexpected, considering his vocal objections against health mandates and what he has previously said about Kamala Harris.
According to an article in the New York Post, Kennedy Jr. and Trump allegedly met in Milwaukee and talked about the possibility of RFK Jr. endorsing Trump.

Kennedy Jr.'s departure from the race could see Trump gain an edge in various moderate voting blocs, which could play a pivotal role in the upcoming election cycle.

RFK Jr. says he takes a larger amount of votes from Trump than Harris:
βI hope to draw votes from both of them. Right now, I draw many more votes from President Trump than from the Democrats.β βAt the RNC, I told Trump that when I saw him, and he was like, βyeah, we got to doβ¦ pic.twitter.com/qqnUp1kYgj β End Tribalism in Politics (@EndTribalism) July 26, 2024

The bottom line is he’s a Liberal Democrat and always has been. He needs to run there. If they won’t let him run against Kamala, that’s his problem. Yes, a Kennedy picked the wrong horse. Not the first time.
