Monday night, a security guard shot his co-worker in the head, killing him, following an argument at Main Event.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) reported that officers received a shooting call at about 7:15 p.m. at 7219 Appling Farms Parkway, the site of the local sports entertainment venue.

One of the security guards fatally shot the other during a verbal dispute, according to MPD.

The Memphis Police Maj. Christopher Parker revealed, "It was a fatal shot."

The police detained the shooter without pressing charges, as the victim lost their life in this shooting incident.

Reporters from FOX13 witnessed a massive police response and an armored vehicle stationed in front of the building, but authorities confirmed that the automobile was uninvolved in the shooting.
