An incident is under investigation in Hancock, Michigan, as authorities look into what seems to be politically motivated attacks, including an elderly man being run over by an ATV and multiple vehicle vandalisms.
The Hancock Police Chief, Tami Sleeman, released a statement revealing the details of the incidents that occurred on Sunday in this small Upper Peninsula town.

In two separate incidents, a suspect intentionally damaged vehicles, leaving residents with substantial repair bills. But the worst act occurred around 5:45 p.m. when the same suspect, riding an ATV, deliberately veered through a yard on Anthony St., plowing over an 80-year-old man who was proudly displaying a political sign on his front lawn.
The impact left the elderly man gravely injured, prompting his urgent transportation to a local hospital. At this time, he remains in critical condition, fighting for his life against the consequences of this attack.

Hancock police revealed their belief that the same individual is responsible for all three incidents.
They issued a cautionary warning to the community, stating, “Be aware, the subject appeared to target both Trump and Law Enforcement supporters,” indicating that political affiliations may have played a role in the perpetrator’s motivation.
Taking a step forward in the investigation, law enforcement officials identified the driver of the ATV on Monday evening.
Though the suspect’s identity has not been disclosed to the public, authorities are diligently working to ascertain vital details surrounding these alarming incidents that have left the community unnerved.
