There was a failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, on the evening of July 13 at a campaign rally.
While the incident sparked a wave of reactions and support, former NFL player Antonio Brown made headlines when he controversially wrote on X that, “One presidential candidate survives presidential assassination attempts and the other sh*ts his pants… what a time to be alive.”

Despite the chaos caused by the attempted assassination, Trump’s campaign reassured the public that he was “fine” after being escorted offstage by the Secret Service, with the Republican candidate later confirming that he had been hit with a bullet that pierced the upper part of his right ear.
Support and condolences poured in from various corners, including some of the biggest names in sports, with UFC fighter Evan Elder taking a moment to give Trump a public shout-out [12].
