The video shows Gaetz approaching McCarthy and asking, “Hey Kevin, what night are you speaking? Are you speaking tonight?” Despite attempts to redirect the conversation, Gaetz persisted in his line of questioning.
With tensions rising, Gaetz made a daring statement, suggesting that if McCarthy were to take the stage, he would face a less-than-warm reception from the audience. “If you took that stage, you would get booed off of it,” Gaetz asserted, repeating his prediction for emphasis.
As of 7:15 Eastern time, the video already has 2 million views.
