Fox News commentator Lisa Boothe recently criticized the Democratic Party's nomination process, arguing that it is far from democratic and alleging that party leaders and donors have colluded to position Kamala Harris as the nominee.

"She said on the campaign trail today, 'I am running a People Powered campaign.' No, she's not. I mean, that's one of the biggest lies we have ever been told by a politician," Boothe asserted.

"We just saw a coup take place where donors and party leads came together, set Joe Biden up with an early debate, and then strong-armed him out of the race, installed a candidate with Kamala Harris, who has never earned a single vote in a primary or a caucus. That's not democracy. This is not a party that believes in democracy. This is not a people-powered campaign," she emphasized.

She pointed out the strategic moves by both parties to shape public perception of Harris. "And the reality is both parties are now in a race to define her. You know, she's a vice president, so she has high name ID, but she's not necessarily been introduced as a presidential candidate yet," Boothe explained.

Boothe highlighted the Trump campaign's preparedness to counter Harris's candidacy. "We've already seen the Trump campaign prepare for this, up with advertising attacking her for being part of the cover-up and also owning the failures of this Biden Administration," she said.
