The cost of celebrating Independence Day in Joe Biden's economy has hit an all-time high, leaving Americans feeling the burn in their wallets. According to data from the American Farm Bureau Federation, this Fourth of July marks the most expensive grocery bill on record.

The White House had previously boasted about the declining cost of a Fourth of July barbecue, claiming it had fallen by a mere $0.16 since last year. However, a fact check by Breitbart News revealed that this claim was mostly false. While some food items did experience a slight decrease, it was largely attributed to the impact of the measures against the coronavirus pandemic rather than Biden's economic policies.

Here's What They're Not Telling You About Your Retirement

Americans are now facing the highest prices ever for the foods they traditionally enjoy on Independence Day. With prices continuously on the rise, one-third of Americans had to alter their Fourth of July plans due to soaring gas prices, as reported by an Emerson College Poll.

As the nation grapples with an unprecedented grocery bill, Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden are preparing to host the White House barbecue. The timing of the event, set for 5:00 p.m., seems aimed at presenting the President as energetic and involved, following his lackluster performance in the first presidential debate.

Joe Biden, if reelected, would turn 86 by the end of his second term. Despite doubts surrounding his ability to govern effectively, Biden remains determined to prove his critics wrong, starting with his enthusiastic participation in Independence Day celebrations.

An RNC Research email highlighted that hosting a cookout for 10 guests on the Fourth of July in 2024 is projected to cost $71.22.

The American Farm Bureau Federation's analysis further revealed that the total grocery bill for a cookout for ten guests this year is estimated to be $71.52. This represents a five percent increase from 2023 and a significant 30 percent jump from five years ago under former President Donald Trump's leadership.

Key items contributing to the record-high bill include cheeseburgers, chicken breasts, pork chops, homemade potato salad, strawberries, and ice cream. A per-person cost of $7.12 has reached an all-time high since the AFBF began their survey in 2013.
