A Palm Beach County judge just released transcripts from a 2006 grand jury investigation into sex trafficking and rape allegations against Jeffrey Epstein.

The approximately 150-page transcripts were made public ahead of a scheduled hearing next week, as per a bill signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis in February. Circuit Judge Luis Delgado, in his order, described the content as "outrageous to decent people," noting that the testimony covered sexually deviant and criminal behavior.

In 2008, Epstein made a controversial plea deal with South Florida federal prosecutors, which allowed him to avoid more severe federal charges by pleading guilty to state charges of procuring a person under 18 for prostitution and solicitation of prostitution.

This lenient deal has faced significant criticism, and Epstein faced federal sex trafficking charges in New York in 2018. Epstein was found dead in a New York City jail cell in August 2019 at the age of 66.

Judge Delgado referred to Epstein as "the most infamous pedophile in American history" and acknowledged the public's keen interest in understanding the specifics of Epstein's prosecution.

"The details in the record will be outrageous to decent people... The testimony taken by the Grand Jury concerns activity ranging from grossly unacceptable to rape — all of the conduct at issue is sexually deviant, disgusting, and criminal." - Judge Luis Delgado

Delgado highlighted that the release of the transcripts sheds light on a case that has drawn public outrage and cast doubt on the justice system for nearly two decades.
