Multiple instances of alleged mental decline by Joe Biden have come to light, with sources close to the administration revealing concerns that his recent debate performance was not an isolated incident. Respected journalist Carl Bernstein shared insights from individuals within Biden's inner circle during an interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN.

According to Bernstein, individuals familiar with Biden, including those who have supported and fundraised for him, have observed approximately "15, 20 occasions in the last year and a half" where the president exhibited signs of cognitive decline similar to what was witnessed during the debate with former President Trump. These concerns have been raised privately, with some incidents reportedly witnessed by journalists.

Highlighting the significance of these revelations, Bernstein emphasized that even though the public may see Biden at his “absolute best” during public appearances like his recent address criticizing a Supreme Court ruling, those closest to him have noted a decline in cognitive abilities and physical health, particularly in the past six months.

The veteran journalist further disclosed that sources had raised the issue with Ron Klain, Biden's former chief of staff who assisted in debate preparations at Camp David, warning of the president's occasional memory lapses and struggles to regain his composure during public events.

One incident cited by Bernstein occurred at a gathering a year ago at the old Four Seasons restaurant on Park Avenue, where Biden reportedly experienced difficulty with his thoughts and had to be accommodated with a chair to aid him in continuing the event.

The concerns about Biden's mental acuity and physical well-being have prompted calls for discussions within the administration, with Bernstein stating, “...the First Family, we need to talk about this.” As scrutiny grows over the president’s performance and capabilities, questions surrounding his ability to fulfill the demands of his role persist among those closest to him.
