A mass shooting in Indianola, Miss., has left three young men dead and 16 others injured, as reported by Mayor Ken Featherstone to FOX13.

According to Mayor Featherstone, the shooting took place on Church Street shortly after midnight on Sunday.
The victims of this senseless act of violence were three 19-year-old men who lost their lives, while a total of 16 individuals sustained injuries either from direct gunfire or ricochet bullets, Mayor Featherstone confirmed.

According to Sunflower County Coroner Heather Burton, the deceased victims in this incident include Areon Butler, Cameron Lee Burts, and Marquette Baites.
