Despite refraining from publicly championing a candidate for the impending 2024 presidential race, Musk has ventured deeper into the political arena via his platform, X, seizing opportunities to vocalize his views.

Elon Musk has vehemently criticized Joe Biden’s immigration policies and aligned himself with many conservative ideals.

Venturing to the U.S.-Mexico border in Eagle Pass, Texas, last September, Musk castigated the prevailing conditions, deeming the scenario “beyond insane and growing fast.”

Moreover, he spoke out against the Biden administration in the wake of the heinous slaying of Laken Riley, a nursing student at Augusta University in Athens, Georgia, perpetrated by an undocumented immigrant.

In a sharp critique, Musk took to X to condemn the Democrats’ lenient stance on deportations, attributing their stance to a calculated ploy to court future votes.

“Dems won’t deport, because every illegal is a highly likely vote at some point,” Musk wrote. “That simple incentive explains what seems to be insane behavior.”

The entrepreneur expressed further exasperation, highlighting the impunity with which law enforcement officers were attacked by a group of undocumented individuals in Times Square, highlighting the lax repercussions and absence of deportation despite felonious actions.

Musk had previously asserted in a post on X in March that he had no intention of making monetary contributions to any candidate vying for the U.S. presidency. “Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President,” he clarified.

The reported revelation of Musk’s contribution to the America PAC coincides with the disclosure by Make America Great Again Inc., a prominent super PAC, which disclosed it raised $104 million during the second quarter of 2024, earmarked for championing Trump’s candidacy.

This development is aligned with the triumphant financial strides of Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee, which reportedly amassed a formidable $331 million in the preceding three months.

This figure eclipsed the $264 million accumulated by the re-election campaign of Joe Biden and the Democratic National Committee, further underscoring the robust financial support behind Trump’s political aspirations.
