Joshua Pippens has accused a 10-year-old boy, whom he reportedly helped raise with his mother Travonna, of shooting him during a domestic dispute. The incident took place when the boy allegedly took a gun from Pippens' hip and fired it while trying to protect his mother.

Pippens, however, denied being the "aggressor" in the situation. He shared security footage of the incident on Instagram, stating that he still had his gun on his hip and that the boy grabbed it, following his mother's lead, and shot him. Pippens emphasized the importance of viewing the footage before it potentially gets taken down.
