A viral video has captured a chaotic scene aboard the Carnival Paradise, as chairs and fists went flying during a wild brawl on the last night of a five-day cruise to Central America in early June. Passenger Nick Richardson, who shot the footage, described the incident as a result of “drunk girls from Tampa” and is heard commenting, “It’s definitely gonna go down.”
The six-and-a-half minute video posted on YouTube [1] and TikTok captured a group of women engaging in a heated argument that quickly escalated into physical confrontation, with chairs being thrown and fists flying.
This looks pretty sick to me. I would definitely eat here. pic.twitter.com/vMufsQcUur [2]

Richardson, who witnessed the melee, chalked it up to excessive drinking and a misunderstanding, noting that the women involved “didn’t care” and “just kept going.” He also mentioned that he had only entered the dining room to grab a late-night slice of pizza and was taken aback by the wild scene.
In response to the incident, a spokesperson for Carnival Cruise Line affirmed that the security team intervened and stressed that such behavior is not tolerated. The guests involved were fined and barred from sailing with Carnival Cruise Line again.
