In a move to shed light on the events following the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, Senator Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) has gone public with the full bodycam footage obtained from local law enforcement.
This footage, filmed in the hour following the attack, was acquired from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit (ESU) in response to congressional requests.
The released videos reveal instances of Beaver County ESU officers and United States Secret Service (USSS) personnel accessing the rooftop, gathering evidence, and responding in the immediate aftermath of the attempt on Trump’s life.

Senator Grassley’s examination of the footage has raised concerns about the fragmented and delayed communication between local and federal law enforcement.
Additionally, there appears to have been a delayed response in identifying and neutralizing a potential detonator device, including one found adjacent to the deceased shooter.

Furthermore, the video footage captures law enforcement discussing the necessity of using a drone to inspect and secure the water tower on site.
Records obtained by Grassley affirm that the Secret Service had deployed an Unmanned Aerial System drone operator to the event.
Curiously, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the House Judiciary Committee, stating that the assailant had reportedly operated his own drone around the venue two hours before launching the attack.
Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri revealed that the Secret Service apparently turned down offers for drone surveillance at a Pennsylvania rally where former President Donald Trump narrowly dodged an assassination attempt.
