Joe Biden has halted nearly ten trips following his announcement that he would no longer be participating in the upcoming presidential race.
A source within the White House revealed to the New York Post that Biden had canceled a total of nine upcoming trips, noting that the cancellations began “when he announced he wasn’t seeking reelection.”
This development came after Biden’s declaration on Sunday that he was stepping back from the presidential race and throwing his backing behind Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democrat Party’s nominee.
My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best… pic.twitter.com/x8DnvuImJV

The White House did not provide a reason for canceling the trips, but according to the New York Post’s source, they were a mix of campaign and official presidential stops.
Biden’s illness was not connected to the sudden decision, as presidential physician Kevin O’Connor on Monday said Biden had almost recovered from the illness.
“They started canceling stuff when he announced he wasn’t seeking reelection,” the source said.
Houston Mayor John Whitmire was expecting a visit from Joe Biden on Thursday to discuss recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Beryl but said the trip was canceled after Joe dropped out.
Biden was planning to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday, but neither he nor Kamala Harris bothered to show up.
JUST IN;
Israel’s Prime Minister @netanyahu and his wife Sara just arrived in Washington DC.
Neither Joe Biden or @KamalaHarris were there to greet him. They didn’t even give Netanyahu & @Israel a proper diplomatic welcome as an ally to the United States.

The president’s next ‘tentatively’ scheduled trip is more than a week away where Biden will travel with Vice President Kamala Harris to an unknown location on July 31.
Biden, 81, hasn’t been seen in public since the night of July 17 when he was diagnosed with COVID-19.

After the diagnosis, the president was seen struggling to get on and off of Air Force One and into his motorcade.
You should certainly look into this. But keep in mind that we “saw” Biden boarding Air Force One in Las Vegas and we also “saw” him leaving Air Force One after arriving near his home in Delaware, I believe. So whatever ‘medical emergency’ there might have been, it didn’t stop… pic.twitter.com/oj9E7qUYUM

Biden’s complete lack of any public appearances or even a video address has raised questions, with some Republican members of Congress calling for a “proof of life” check.
I demand proof of life from Joe Biden today by 5:00pm.
He needs to get in front of some camera and discuss if he’s aware that he dropped out.
Hiding is completely unacceptable.

The announcement suspending his campaign arrived without the official White House letterhead, with an apparently electronically added signature.
Is President Biden even alive?!
So he obviously didn’t write the memo – not his signature, no presidential seal…. and now his schedule is blank?

A representative from the White House shared that Biden participated in virtual briefings on homeland security and national security from his location in Rehoboth on Monday.
Biden’s unexpected change of plans has prompted numerous inquiries regarding his decision and the impact it will have on his leadership going forward.
