Congressman Adam Schiff, a California Democrat running for Senate, recently appeared on “Meet the Press” to discuss the presidential race. During the interview, Schiff raised concerns about Joe Biden’s mental fitness, citing Biden’s debate performance and suggesting that Americans are questioning his ability to defeat Donald Trump. Schiff also mentioned the importance of seeking advice from objective individuals outside his inner circle.
Adam Schiff: “Joe Biden is going to need to consider for his own sake and his own legacy.. if he is the best to beat Donald Trump.”

Schiff’s remarks add to a growing number of Democrats openly questioning Biden’s cognitive abilities following the debates and subsequent interviews. Comedian Rob Reiner, a vocal liberal, also expressed similar sentiments on social media, urging Biden to consider stepping down for the sake of democracy. Reiner ReTweeted this clip of Adam Schiff from the same ‘Meet the Press’ segment. Watch:
Adam Schiff on Meet the Press: “Given Joe Biden’s incredible record, given Donald Trump’s terrible record, he should be mopping the floor w/ Trump. Joe Biden’s running against a criminal. It should not be even close & there’s only one reason it is & that’s the president’s age.” pic.twitter.com/TcMxHY9uYr [3]

Despite the criticisms, Biden has denied any mental issues and says he remains committed to running in the upcoming election. However, Schiff’s comments highlight a lack of unanimous support for Biden within the Democratic Party as the election approaches.
