Tragedy struck at a crowded Rochester park Sunday evening as a barrage of gunfire left one person dead and six others injured, according to the Rochester police.

The victim, in their 20s, was fatally shot, while another individual was left in critical condition following the incident at Maplewood Park around 6:20 p.m. Additionally, five more victims sustained minor injuries and were promptly taken to the hospital.

Rochester Police Captain Greg Bello addressed the media, asserting, “At this point, we don’t know how many people were shooting.
