Yellowstone Season 5 Finale Date Revealed

Paramount Network has announced [1] that “Yellowstone,” TV’s #1 show, will return on Sunday, November 10th at 8 pm ET/PT. As previously announced, the mega-hit series is currently filming in Montana. Internationally, “Yellowstone” will premiere on Paramount+ in Canada on November 10th, the U.K. on November 11th, and in Latin America, Brazil, and France later.

There has been significant speculation regarding the potential return of Kevin Costner to the series. In a recent CBS Sunday Morning [2] interview, the Academy Award-winning actor revealed that he has not entirely ruled out the possibility of reprising his role as John Dutton. “Yeah, if I liked the story, where it was going, I would go back,” Costner stated.

Costner clarified that his departure from “Yellowstone” was not solely to focus on his latest project, “Horizon: An American Saga.” He emphasized, “I did everything that I was contracted to do with ‘Yellowstone.’” The actor also hinted at potential legal action over unpaid funds related to his work on the show, an issue that emerged during his recent court battle over child support with his ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner.

The actor’s commitment to “Horizon” significantly contributed to the scheduling conflicts with “Yellowstone.” Costner revealed he was offered $24 million to continue the series for seasons 5, 6, and 7, but the show faced cancellation due to these scheduling issues. “I will probably go to court over it,” he remarked regarding the payment disputes for the latest seasons.

Despite these challenges, Costner remains focused on “Horizon,” an ambitious post-Civil War drama set to debut on June 28. The film, co-written and directed by Costner, marks a significant investment of his own money.

As the final chapters of “Yellowstone” prepare to unfold, fans can look forward to a dramatic conclusion, while speculation about Costner’s potential return continues to add intrigue to the series finale.
