In a significant announcement concerning American working class that makes a living off of tips, former President Donald Trump made a bold pledge on Sunday regarding potential tax reforms under his administration, promising to prioritize changes that would exempt workers who earn part of their income through tips from federal taxes. Specifically highlighting hotel and restaurant employees, Trump emphasized the need to alleviate the tax burden on these workers who rely on tips as a significant portion of their earnings.

This marked the first instance in which Trump publicly addressed the prospect of altering tax laws to benefit tipped workers, according to Forbes, signaling a potential shift in policy focus. While the specifics of the proposed changes were not immediately clarified, Trump underscored the long-standing dispute surrounding the taxation of tips, describing it as a contentious issue that needs urgent resolution.
An absolute GAME CHANGER!

Addressing a crowd of supporters, Trump emphasized the perceived fairness of granting tax relief to restaurant industry workers, stating that it is a well-deserved measure for individuals whose livelihoods depend on tips. He expressed his commitment to ensuring that employees in tipping-related jobs, including those in restaurants, are no longer subjected to tax assessments under his administration.
Trump’s declaration on tax reform for tipped workers marks a significant departure from traditional conservative views on taxation and reflects a potential policy shift aimed at supporting a key segment of the workforce. With the details of the proposed tax changes yet to be fully articulated, the announcement has sparked discussions and anticipation regarding the potential impact on the hospitality and restaurant sectors if Trump secures a return to the presidency.

Noooooooooo! Reduce Feral spending and the 34 T deficit!
Can’t ague with that. Federal spending has become a bit feral. 😉
So cut spending! Payroll tax is theft. The income tax punishes production. If you work over time they take even more.
PUL the PLUG on the Federal Reserve AKA the governments printing press.
The Federal reserve is a privately owned Central bank, the US Government has little or no control over it, if Trump had any balls he would get rid of the Fed and inform the American people that the US Government will print debt and interest money, but that will never happen because Trump would effectively sign his own death warrant.
Like he doesn’t already have a target on him already and he doesn’t have that power anyway.
Our stupid government is giving housing, health care, $1000 debit cards to illegal aliens and you want the people making tips pay for it? You horrible, awful jerk !!
I’m still fcukin AMAZED that the most heavily armed society thanks to 2A on the planet allows psychopath billionaire elites to compromize their judicial, medical, agriculture, financial, military & security systems right in the open — without even a patriotic community smack down.
Admit it, the freedom & liberty luvin taxpaying USian sheep masses have allowed this degeneracy to metastasize for decades. Even the brave citizens in the Sahel Alliance (Burkina Faso, Mali & Niger) had the balls to overthrow their corrupt colonial “Western” puppets. So what’s holding back “patriotic” CONservative Americans?
I’ll give ya’ll props though…you’re AMAZING at terrorizing CONSERVATIVE Blacks since the first Civil War from developing thriving prosperous communities like Black Wall Street (Tulsa Oklahoma) which ya’ll destroyed out of jealousy. Now the DemonRat elites have ya’ll by the balls. Coincidence, payback, karma??
So you are calling for it, when are you going to start?
Fishing Guides will love thistoo!
Biden…. Come on man why didn’t we think of this?
Makes me wonder…will employers even further increase dependence on tips? FYI, I only give tips when they’re deserved, not when expected.
That’s a step in a positive direction, but convincing congress to pass the FairTax (H.R>25) would go a lot further and accomplish the same thing and so much more.
I always leave a dollar tip on credit cards and give the server the rest in cash.
