Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-09) has introduced H.R. 8620 in a press release, known as the Treasury Reserve Unveiling Memorable Portrait (TRUMP) Act. This legislation mandates the Secretary of the Treasury to issue $500 Federal Reserve notes featuring a portrait of former President Donald J. Trump.
Gosar emphasized the practical advantages of issuing $500 bills during an era of rising inflation under the Biden administration. "As Bidenflation continues to devalue our currency, the issuance of $500 bills featuring President Trump offers several practical advantages," said Gosar.
He outlined key benefits, such as empowering Americans with more tangible options for saving and trading. The absence of large-denomination currency forces reliance on digital banking, which is more susceptible to surveillance and censorship.
Additionally, Gosar noted the potential for significant revenue generation from collectors. "These $500 Trump bills will become highly sought after, generating revenue for the government through increased demand for numismatic items. Collectors often covet currency with unique designs and historical significance, and bills featuring the very popular 45th President will attract considerable attention," Gosar stated. This market demand could lead to increased seigniorage earnings for the government, boosting overall revenues.

Except there is long standing legislation prohibition g the use of any image of a living person on either postage, currency or coins.
That is what dictators do as soon as they attain power. I.e. Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Franco, Mao etc.
The only dictator is Joe Biden. F***tard.
Ah, I say that an exception is warranted in Trump’s case. Desperate times call for …. You know.
A very famous person was once asked what political ideology he would prefer to live under, and his response was spot on – ,”I really don’t have a preference about the political structure of the country I’m living in. It all boils down to if good people are at the top of the political structure. I mean, I’d happily live being ruled by a king, or a dictator, if it was a good king or dictator.
All political systems work wonderfully if those running them care for the average citizen. Sorry, but this is a true statement.
Pres. John Adams wrote” “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
The implementation of a $500 (and a $1000) is one that I have espoused for years. I even started a petition to address the need for it. I didn’t designate who should appear on the bill(s).
Whoopi Goldberg
That ain’t legal, but if a private company wants to mint Trump gold and silver bullion coins, I’m a buyer!!
Paper is not ‘money’. Electrons have no chance with me!
I could agree on having a $500 bill but I heartily disagree that Trump’s face should be on it. I am not an anti-Trump person but we can do better. I wouldn’t want Brib’ems face on it either.
