Last Saturday, rapper Sexyy Red, also known as Janae Wherry, found herself in legal trouble after a tumultuous brawl erupted at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. The 26-year-old musician, previously linked to Drake, was captured on surveillance footage engaging in a heated altercation with airport security and another group, as reported by TMZ and corroborated by police accounts.
The video footage obtained by the publication depicts the chaotic scene as Sexyy Red entered the fray, attempting to wield a metal stand in the midst of a fight involving several men on the airport floor. Although it appears that she did not make physical contact, she was subsequently restrained and taken into custody, along with a few others, after airport security intervened.

Addressing the incident the following morning, Sexyy Red shared a clip stating, “Good morning, I just got out,” and offered to replace the phones of those involved in the altercation at the airport by encouraging them to contact her directly.
According to the Port Authority, Sexyy Red was arrested for disorderly conduct, while other individuals involved in the altercation faced assault charges. The alleged victims were reported to have sustained minor injuries, prompting their hospitalization for treatment.
