Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal reached a new low when she chuckled and agreed [1] with the unhinged host Joy Reid’s assertion that Fox News’ factual coverage of the heinous child rape allegedly committed by an illegal immigrant in New York City [2] amounted to “fear-mongering.” This callous disregard for a despicable crime against an American child, along with their blatant attempt to shame anyone who acknowledges the truth about crimes committed by illegal immigrants, has rightfully outraged social media users everywhere.

The accused, Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, a 25-year-old illegal immigrant from Ecuador, allegedly kidnapped a 13-year-old boy and girl at knifepoint, bound their wrists with shoelaces, and proceeded to rape the girl in broad daylight in Kissena Park, Queens, on June 13. Shockingly, incidents involving illegal immigrants committing crimes against children have become increasingly common and, in some tragic cases, fatal.
However, according to Reid and Jayapal, you should just turn a blind eye to the facts.
In a clip shared on the social media platform, the MSNBC host pointed the finger at Fox News for “this sort of thinking,” referring to the connection between crime and illegal immigrants, a connection that Democrats and the establishment media desperately want to conceal. She contrasted Fox News’ coverage with the narrative pushed by MSNBC and CNN, whose paid mouthpieces eagerly touted Joe Biden’s plan to grant protections to illegal immigrants’ spouses.

The offending Fox News headline simply stated, “Migrant Arrested for Raping 13-Year-Old NYC Girl,” but even this matter-of-fact statement was apparently too much for Reid and Jayapal to handle. When Reid read the headline aloud, Jayapal callously chuckled, and Reid continued to whine about the coverage of a 13-year-old girl’s rape, while Jayapal scoffed and laughed.
Conservative voices promptly called them out, with the prominent account Libs of TikTok directly addressing the pair on social media, questioning how the rape of a minor could be deemed “fear-mongering” and amusing to Jayapal and Reid. Other outraged social media users advocated for voting out these disgraceful politicians, emphasizing that such behavior is appalling and expressing their disbelief at the exchange.

According to the left’s warped logic, acknowledging and reporting on the horrific crime committed by an illegal immigrant is the real problem. Reid and Jayapal ultimately delivered an exchange so far removed from decency that witnessing it may be the only way for honorable people to fathom just how detestable it truly was.
