LAS VEGAS - Police located a 57-year-old man following a shooting incident in a North Las Vegas neighborhood that left five people dead and a 13-year-old girl critically wounded.

According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, two women, aged in their 40s and 50s, were found shot and killed in an apartment on Casa Norte Drive. The 13-year-old girl, who had suffered a gunshot wound, was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition.

 

During the investigation, authorities discovered three more victims inside a nearby apartment. All three victims, two women and one man in their 20s, were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The suspect, identified as Eric Adams, was swiftly located by the police. The North Las Vegas Police Department assured the community that there is no longer a threat from Adams.

 

Following the incident, law enforcement authorities cordoned off a section of the Craig Ranch Villas complex on Casa Norte Drive with crime scene tape. Coroner vans and several police vehicles, including a mobile command center van, were visible at the scene.

 

 

Residents in the area expressed shock and concern over the tragic events. Taylor Holmes, a resident of Craig Ranch Villas, acknowledged previous incidents of shootings but emphasized that this incident was particularly unexpected and disconcerting.

 

Earlier this year, the North Las Vegas community also experienced a shooting incident in which three women were fatally shot at a different apartment complex.
