A 65-year-old deli worker in Woodside, Queens, was brutally assaulted on Monday night at a deli on 64th Street and Broadway. According to surveillance video, the attack was carried out by a man with distinctive green hair who, after bumping into the deli worker, launched a vicious and relentless assault, knocking the victim unconscious and causing critical injuries.
The son of a deli worker is speaking out after his father was brutally attacked by a man in Queens, who community members say has brought them unease in the past.

The assailant’s violent behavior and unsettling presence in the neighborhood have left residents uneasy, with some noting that he is frequently seen talking to himself at night. The victim’s son described his father’s injuries as severe, including internal brain bleeding and a fractured face. As the victim remains in critical condition at Elmhurst Hospital, doctors are monitoring his recovery and considering the need for surgery.
