One group, known as Within Our Lifetime, circulated a flyer calling on protesters to try to reach the building where Biden was hosting a fundraiser in Manhattan on Friday. The flyer's message was clear: "Genocidal politicians are not welcome in New York City. Get there by any means necessary."

Initially starting at Madison Square Park, the protest quickly grew in size as participants marched towards the event venue. Eyewitnesses reported that some protesters were arrested amidst the crowd, though the majority managed to breach the security barriers.
