Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, admitted on Friday that unless something changes rapidly, Donald Trump will win the presidency again. Scarborough was disheartened about Joe Biden’s lackluster performance in the second presidential debate.

During the show, both Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski expressed their disappointment in Biden’s performance. Adding that the former vice-president seemed unable to land significant blows on Trump during the debate.

Scarborough took pains to express his love for the Bidens and their political record but found it impossible to ignore the former vice president’s weaknesses last night. As he noted, “We saw last night why this race has been close, and why I fear Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States, unless things change.”

Scarborough also appeared surprised that Biden, who he thought always rose to the occasion, was unable to respond effectively to Trump’s attacks – calling into question Biden’s prospects for the 2024 presidential race.
