Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has announced that they were able to raise close to $53 million in online donations within just 24 hours following his hush money trial verdict. The 2024 Republican presidential candidate who was found guilty of all 34 counts intends to appeal the decision.
Although the official Trump donor list has not yet been released, a few wealthy individuals have publicly voiced their support for the former president’s MAGA campaign. The Israeli-American billionaire of the casino industry, Miriam Adelson, and the hotelier Robert Bigelow are among the prominent names who have pledged sizeable contributions to fuel pro-Trump advertisements, door-knocking campaigns, and phone banking activities in battleground states.
Miriam Adelson, the widow of the former CEO of Las Vegas Sands, Sheldon Adelson, is planning to donate an unspecified amount to the super PAC, Preserve America. She had earlier shown her support to Trump during his 2016 election campaign and gave more than $90 million to the super PAC during the 2020 presidential elections.
