English pro golfer Charley Hull is making waves this week, and not just because she is ranked No. 8 in the LPGA world rankings. Instead, the star caused a stir after channeling her inner John Daly while signing autographs at the U.S. Women’s Open on Tuesday.
Hull greeted fans at Lancaster Country Club with a cigarette in her mouth and the moment about broke social media, giving women’s sports another big moment this week.

This also doesn’t appear to be the first time she has brandished a cigarette in her mouth at an event. She was also seen with what appeared to be a cigarette during the Mizuho Americas Open earlier this month in Jersey City, N.J.
The 28-year-old Hull boasts three wins on the Ladies European Tour and two on the LPGA Tour. She first picked up a golf club at age 2 and turned pro in 2013, winning the Ladies European Tour Rookie of the Year award.
The 2024 U.S. Women’s Open kicked off Thursday and culminates with the final round Sunday, June 2nd.
