Olivier Rioux, the rising star committed to the Florida Gators men’s basketball program, has reached an astonishing height of 7’9”, as confirmed by the team's official website. This makes him the Guinness World Record holder for the tallest teenager on the planet, as he surpassed his own record to set a new unprecedented height.

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Rioux pursued his high school education at IMG Academy in Florida before making his commitment to the Gators.

Rioux’s remarkable growth trajectory saw him towering at 6’1” at the age of eight, and an impressive 6’11” by the time he reached the sixth grade, as reported by UF basketball’s website. He soared past the seven-foot mark before entering seventh grade.

By the age of 16, Rioux had already secured his place in the Guinness World Record book as the tallest teen globally, measuring over 7’5”.
