Detectives quickly unraveled the shocking details of the case. The suspect, 71-year-old Patricia Whitehead, and the victim were roommates. Whitehead, incensed by her roommate’s lack of cleanliness, took matters into her own hands. The incident unfolded as the victim was leaving their shared residence. After hearing the door slam, Whitehead retrieved her firearm from her bedroom, stepped outside, and shot the victim multiple times.
