Sakir Akkan, a 21-year-old illegal alien from Turkey, has been arrested in upstate New York for allegedly forcing a 15-year-old girl into his car, threatening her with a metal pole, and raping her. The incident occurred in Albany on May 14, with Akkan reportedly targeting the teenager as she walked down a street in the early hours. Albany Police and Democrat lawmakers are being accused of covering it up.
After taking the girl to an isolated area, Akkan allegedly undressed her and committed the assault. The victim managed to escape and seek help, sustaining scratches on her legs during the ordeal.

Akkan, who is not a U.S. citizen, had a previous encounter with authorities when he was arrested by U.S. Border Patrol agents in California last year after illegally crossing the border.
Following his arrest in Albany, Akkan has been charged with first-degree rape and is currently detained without bail in the Albany County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court later this week.
The Times Union reported [5] that the Albany Police didn’t notify the public about the girl’s abduction and rape. Albany’s Police Chief responded with a statement:

This case adds to a series of recent incidents involving illegal immigrants, including the tragic murder of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray in Texas by two illegal Venezuelan migrants, Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, and Johan Jose Rangel Martinez. Jocelyn’s funeral is set to take place today.
