In a tragic turn of events in the Chicago-area village of Crestwood, a concealed carry permit holder found himself in a harrowing altercation with a tow truck driver during a road rage incident on Tuesday. According to reports from Breitbart News [1], the concealed carry permit holder, driving a Buick, became entangled in a heated exchange with the tow truck driver, leading to a collision between their vehicles.

The situation escalated as both drivers proceeded towards the access road, culminating in a chilling moment when the tow truck driver brandished a gun, as noted by the Chicago Sun-Times. In a swift and decisive response, the concealed permit holder resorted to using his firearm, fatally shooting the tow truck driver, who was later rushed to a nearby hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

As documented by Fox 32 [2], the incident unfolded shortly after 3:00 p.m., prompting law enforcement to swiftly intervene. Crestwood police officers responded to the scene at 132nd Street and Cicero following reports of shots being fired. Upon arrival, they discovered the wounded tow truck driver, a 35-year-old man, who was promptly attended to by officers before being transported to Christ Hospital by the paramedics from the Crestwood Fire Department.

Further investigations revealed the genesis of the confrontation, revealing that the clash originated as a road rage incident. The vehicles, a tow truck, and a Buick Enclave collided near Cal Sag Road and Cicero before continuing their ominous journey southward on Cicero towards the access road to Rivercrest Mall.
