Former President Donald Trump made an appearance at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, D.C., this past weekend. In the midst of his remarks, he turned the spotlight on Louisiana’s Republican governor, who had just signed a new bill into law that mandates the display of the Ten Commandments in all public school classrooms.
Trump's Sovereign Wealth Fund: What Could It Mean For Your Money?
With the crowd erupting into applause, Trump asked, “Who likes the Ten Commandments, by the way, going up in the school?” He proceeded to address those who oppose the idea, bluntly asserting, “They think it’s such a bad thing. I said, ‘Has anyone read the… Thou Shalt Not Steal, Thou Shall…? I mean, has anybody read this incredible stuff? It’s just incredible, they don’t want it to go up. It’s a crazy world.”
CNN, always on the lookout for a chance to pounce on anything related to Trump, seized upon Trump’s endorsement of the Ten Commandments display, hoping to create a controversial soundbite. Their target was none other than former Republican presidential candidate and Trump’s former Housing and Urban Development (HUD) secretary, Ben Carson, whom they interviewed on Saturday.
Imagine being a talk show host for a failing cable news network and hosting one of the greatest medical minds of the last 50 years.
Instead of asking about addiction, obesity rates, medical corruption, you try to corner @RealBenCarson with a “gotcha” pertaining to the 10…

Carson left the CNN journalist flustered, refusing to be ensnared in their trap. Undeterred by the biased line of questioning, Carson emphasized, “This isn’t about President Trump. This is about what is happening to the moral fiber of our nation.” He pointed out the crucial role that such moral principles play in fostering respect and good conduct among individuals, especially at a young age.
Unfazed by the host’s attempts to steer the conversation into an attack on Christianity, Carson emphasized the importance of teaching values and highlighted the freedom for the people of Louisiana to voice their opinion through the ballot box.
In a tête-à-tête that left the CNN host flustered, Carson’s logical stance underscored the network’s unfortunate decline in journalistic integrity.

This incident serves as another glaring example of how CNN’s commitment to “facts first” has been replaced with a questionable practice of selective reporting, which biases its coverage towards a predetermined narrative.

Ben as thoughtful, measured and articulate as ever. The autonomy of the states is the concept.
Carson will be VP.
I hope not. He’s a good man and should have a role in a Trump Administration but he’s too laid back for POTUS. The job requires someone with more fire to contend with the Dem/media cabal.
I Sincerely hope so. President Trump needs a thoughtful, calm and collected VP alongside his side. I Have never seen Mr. Carson excited or going off the rail emotionally. Alaways polite, calm, and comes up with the correct and un-antogonising answer.!
The Godless left always denigrates those that hold religious beliefs.
Because of his professed religiosity, it’s going to be difficult for women to come out of the woodwork to claim Dr. Carson sexually molested them 20 years ago. It’s going to be difficult for the “Security Apparatus” to plant kp on his computer and make it believable. Many who are not religious are not bothered by someone else’s religiosity. Only a few are actually anti-religion and they get jobs on MSNBC and CNN.
CNN talking stooges contort themselves to ask ‘gotcha’ questions appealing to their very few thousand viewers.
Other parts of the world can do as they chose!!!
The 10 comandants is a demonstration of the Judaeo Christian founding of the USA.
Ben should have asked which commandment was the most objectionable to the CNN bigot atheist douche so that everyone could see the tape of their head exploding
“A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when they lose their virtue they will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader. Religion and good morals are the only solid foundations of public liberty and happiness.” – Samuel Adams
“If religious books are not widely circulated among the masses in this country, I do not know what is going to become of us as a nation. If truth be not diffused, error will be; If God and His Word are not known and received, the devil and his works will gain the ascendancy, If the evangelical volume does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will; If the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness will reign without mitigation or end.” – Daniel Webster
“If we abide by the principles taught in the Bible, our country will go on prospering and to prosper; but if we and our posterity neglect its instruction and authority, no man can tell how sudden a catastrophe may overwhelm us and bury all our glory in profound obscurity.” – Daniel Webster
“The future and success of America is not in this Constitution, but in the laws of God upon which this Constitution is founded.” – James Madison
We need to add just one more: Thou Shall Not Be A Demoncrat!
so humble and brilliant….Dr. Carson should be admired and learned from

He will be a great Vice President and won’t be a hindrance to DeSantis in 2028. Constitutional lawyer Robert Barnes predicted he would be VP six months ago.
